Proximity Communications plc, a leading provider of UC and Contact Centre services and solutions, continues its rapid growth plans with the appointment of seven new members of the Operations Team. The new appointments include Voice Installation Engineers, Customer Support Engineers, Contact Centre Support staff and two Project Management roles. The Customer Support Engineers have been employed to service the support needs of large corporate clients and will be based on site at client premises.

Darren Boyce, CEO Proximity Communications says: “As we continue to expand and win new customers with complex needs and a dependency on high levels of support, it is imperative we ensure we have the best engineering resource and support personnel to respond to those demands.  Our team members are recruited based on relevant technical expertise and knowledge, as well as their ability to work closely with clients to form long term relationships, by quickly understanding the ongoing business challenges faced by the customer. “

Proximity’s new Project Coordinator Katie Reynolds-Wharton has a broad technical knowledge and is a Prince 2 project management practitioner who was previously ICT Project Manager at a Community Council, a Director at a building services provider and worked at Arthur Andersens.

Stuart Legg, Sales and Marketing Director, Proximity Communications says: “As we enter a new phase of growth we are keeping a close eye on the training and development needs of all of our staff.  We want to ensure, as an organization, that we retain our reputation of offering high levels of intelligent and committed installation and support services, for all of our customers.  Many of those customers that are prepared to endorse our work are often quoted as saying that our team are also a nice bunch of people to work with, that sort of feedback is not to be underestimated.”
