Proximity Update & Plans for 2012, Stuart Legg, Sales & Marketing Director

It‘s now been just over 12 months since I first started at Proximity and what a whirlwind of a year it’s been.  As a business we’ve consolidated our portfolio and focused on being the experts at what we do.  This has seen us invest a large amount of money in training and accreditation in Avaya voice/data, Shoretel UC/Mobility, Aerohive wireless and also Teleware network services.  Through this investment we’ve put ourselves in a strong position to talk to you about how future roadmaps and technologies can fit into your strategies and plans moving forward.

If you’d like a tailored roadmap session please contact your Account Manager to have this arranged or call 0845 372 9010.  We will have lots of new exciting technologies to talk to you about including our new enhanced monitoring service which has seen a lot of interest from many customers who have already had a session with our team.

On a more social note we ran a number of very successful customer events over the last year and will continue to run these throughout 2012.   We’re always keen to have feedback, from customers and prospects on what you’d like to see more of both from a product and service offering, as well as an event perspective.

London 2012, Olympic Statement

As a British business with offices in London, Proximity Communications are thrilled and honoured that our capital city is hosting the Olympics in 2012. However we recognise that the event will have a huge effect on businesses and daily interaction with the life of the Capital, we therefore must be mindful of the extra consideration for road usage and for transport in general.   During 2011 our Operations team have planned for this amazing event and believe we have minimised the impact to our services whilst being able to respond to our customer’s needs over the games tenure.

We as a communications business must however stress that Proximity do not provision LAN or WAN connectivity within the domain of the Capital City and cannot be held accountable for the delay or any subsequent issue made apparent by the OFCOM Statement of approval on BT’s request for exemption from its Undertakings related to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
