Voice Circuits

Proximity offers a range of Voice Circuit connectivity options that allow migration to new and improved technologies, whilst still, if required, benefiting from established legacy systems.

Call Rates
To offer complete call flexibility for all customers, Proximity Communications provides a Carrier Pre Select (CPS) service. This Voice Service diverts call traffic from existing client call providers to Proximity’s chosen carrier service. For those customers still under contract with their line supplier, this means they can take advantage of the flexibility, benefits, and reduced call rates from Proximity, at any time.

PSTN Lines
For our analogue customers, Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) provides efficient connectivity for non-digital devices such as fax, ADSL, alarms etc.

ISDN2e
Our Integrated Service Digital Network 2e offers two lines per channel which ultimately means two calls can be received simultaneously. The advantage over PSTN is the ability to add Direct Dial Inward numbers (DDI) freeing up main line number calls whilst reducing the number of physical analogue lines required.

ISDN30e
Our ISDN30e connectivity offers customers up to 30 channels, allowing simultaneous calls across each channel. This service allows an unlimited number of DDI’s, allowing business contacts to call direct, significantly reducing switchboard management.

SIP Trunks
SIP Trunks can offer cost-savings on call handling, eliminating the need for local PSTN gateways and interfaces. They allow enterprises to make full use of their installed IP-PBXs and to communicate via IP both inside and outside the enterprise.
