			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Newbury, UK, 01 February 2012 </strong>- Proximity announces today the appointment of John Tonner as Head of Operations and Jon Stones as Presales Technology Specialist.  Both appointments follow a period of continued business success for the company.</p>
<p>Darren Boyce, CEO Proximity Communications says: “The appointment of John Tonner and Jon Stones expands our combined company knowledge and experience considerably.  John Tonner is an accomplished operations director with over 36 years IT industry experience, whilst Jon Stones brings with him 13 years experience, including 10+ years of working with the Nortel/Avaya product range.  As the company continues to grow the need to recruit and retain highly experienced professionals with an affinity for our aims and customer service goals is imperative.”</p>
<p><span id="more-1673"></span>John Tonner has extensive skills and experience in operations, project direction, telecommunications infrastructure roll-out and managed services, honed throughout a career working with the RAF and more recently with private sector organizations.  John spent almost 10 years working on IT Infrastructure operations and management in the Defense and Space industry, led a team to complete the largest ever roll-out in Europe of RFID on behalf of the Royal Mail and also managed the largest managed service contract within Integrated Solutions in the UK.</p>
<p>John Tonner says: “I am very pleased to be joining Proximity, a company with an excellent portfolio of services, and I look forward to helping deliver best practice engineering with enhanced Service Level Agreements.”</p>
<p>Jon Stones joins Proximity following a role as Solutions Architect for Azlan and prior to that almost 10 years with value added distributor (VAD) of Unified Communications solutions, Westcon Convergence.  Jon has considerable experience in data networking, unified communications and security, along with a strong background in Windows Desktop, Server and Application Software.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Newbury, UK, 24 November 2011 </strong>- Proximity Communications plc, a leading provider of ICT services and solutions, announces today the appointment of Peter Francis as Chief Financial Officer.  Peter also becomes a member the Proximity Board of Directors, strengthening the team of 4.</p>
<p>Darren Boyce, CEO Proximity Communications says: “With our continued drive and ambition to grow the business, we are very fortunate to be acquiring the skills and presence that Peter will bring to the team.  Peter has had great experience across all financial disciplines, including corporate finance, and combined with his considerable knowledge of company operations, we see him bringing great value to Proximity as we look to expand the business over the next 12-24 months.”<br />

Peter Francis says: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Proximity and becoming part of a fast-moving and intelligent business.  Proximity has a bright and sustainable future, with high profile clients, a great reputation, an impressive list of accreditations and a dedicated team.  As CFO I hope to bring financial leadership together with operational and the commercial experience I have gained through managing the growth of both UK and international technology companies. <p>Boyce adds: “His passion and focus on increasing value in the business will add an extra dimension to the management team.  Our appointment of Stuart Legg earlier this year as Sales &amp; Marketing Director has already had a significant impact on the business, and we see Peter as continuing this through instigating new areas for development to stimulate business growth.”</p>
<p>Francis moves to Proximity following a distinguished career working with successful SME technology companies both within the UK and globally in the US and throughout EMEA. Educated at Liverpool University he qualified with Arthur Andersen, where he worked for 7 years.  Other organizations Francis has worked with include SoftBrands Inc, and the Fourth Shift Group.  In addition to the remit of financial direction and management of these businesses he has had strong front office experience and has consistently added value to both the sales and delivery functions.”</p>
<p>Dave Silvey, the (previous) current Finance Director who has been instrumental to the success of Proximity Communications, and a major contributor to the successful merger, which he undertook in 2009, is moving into a world-wide finance and operations roll for a major US software vendor.</p>
